Beginner Class - Re-Starting in May 2025

Interested in learning archery prior to this time? Schedule 2-3 private lessons with Addy, Catherine, or Bill and you may be invited to our intermediate classes.

Saturday 11:00AM - 12:00PM

In this beginner level 1 hour class students will be introduced to the sport of archery.

New classes added 1 month prior to the start of a Saturday class.

Key Features Include:

Learning safety and rules of the range

Introduction to the basic principles of the shot process

Equipment will be provided

Price:

$20 for all beginners / per class

  • Dress for the weather!

    Try not to wear loose or baggy shirts or sweatshirts. This may interfere wih shooting.

    Bring a hair tie and or bobby pins to keep hair out of face.

    Close toed shoes.

  • If it’s summer, bug spray and sunscreen may be beneficial.

    A chair to sit between ends (but not required).

  • If you are interested in purchasing your own equipment please talk to Addy. She will email you the link with recommendations for recurves.

    If you are a compound shooter you can stop by Summit Archery and they will help you. Request a target style setup.

  • Yes! Equipment for all beginners can be provided.

    You are welcome to bring your own if you have it.

    • Each participant must have their own ticket to participate.

    • You MUST arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class (10:45). If you arrive at or after 11 you may expect a delay to your shooting start time. It takes about 15 minutes for our coaches to introduce archery to a new group. Late comers will have to wait until we have the first group shooting before they receive their archery introduction. Thank you for your understanding.

Intermediate Class

Saturdays by Invitation Only

An opportunity to get coaching and work alongside other youth and adult archers who are interested in improving their archery skills for recreation and/or competitions.

Key details for understanding of the archery shooting process and form.

Scoring (option to work toward USA Archery JOAD and adult achievement levels and pins).

Preparing for competitions

Mental game

Games and other activities

  • Those invited by Coach Addy, Bill, or Catherine.

  • Up to a point, we prefer that these individuals purchase their own equipment so they can successfully work on developing their archery skills.


Advanced Team Practices

Saturdays Mornings and Weeknights by Invitation

Work along side other dedicated archers who are looking to take their shooting to the next level.
